We had a pep rally this afternoon to get all the students hyped up for the big Coming Home game tonight. (Coming Home is basketball Homecoming except reversed--instead of crowning a homecoming queen we crown a coming home king)
One of my favorite things about working at the school is the opportunity to attend pep rallies. Call it fond memories from my youth, but I sure do love a good pep rally! During our pep rallies each class competes to win the title of "Most Spirited". They earn this title by having the most participation, yelling as a unified group, and taking 1st place in a class vs. class game.
As I stood enjoying the festivities today, I see Jared and a fellow junior walk to the center of the court to participate in the class game. Groups of two were lined up at mid-court...freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors. The announcer yelled...on your mark, get set, go...one member of each team (this was Jared from his team) proceeded to put on a pull-up baby diaper, run to the end of the court where they had to eat an entire jar of baby food, run back to mid court, where his teammate was waiting to carry him baby style to the finish line.
That's right, the juniors won!! There's nothing like seeing my grown son running around in front of the school in a diaper. LOL

We need a "Like" button like on Facebook!! Frankly, I think a picture of "baby" Jared is warranted!! lol
I don't see what's so special, sounds like a regular Saturday night for me.
