This weekend I met 5 of my best friends in Illinois for the weekend. The weekend affirmed how well I chose my friends twenty-plus years ago. I can hardly put in words the special, unique relationships we have. I love that six smart, educated, successful women with strong personalities and opinions get together and listen, respect and learn from each other. We've experienced so much together; the teenage years, college, new marriage, the birth of children and the comfort and struggles of adulthood. I can honestly say that I still genuinely like each of these women and would choose them as friends all over again. Thanks for not turning into a bunch of freaks girls.

I broke out in coombuyaa while reading your post.I have no idea how to spell that word. It was like a hallmark commercial.Laura looks a lot like her mom. There for a minute I thought I was back in history class.You were in Carbondale on halloween weekend? Did you guys riot w/ the rest of the hooligans? Cuz I didn't see you there.
