We had to laugh when we saw the front page of the newspaper since Jacob was sick and only played about 4 minutes of this game. You ask, "If he was sick, why was he playing?" The answer is...because we didn't know he was feeling bad. The basketball team stays after school, eats dinner together then plays the game so we didn't talk to him until after the game. He came home with a fever, headache, cough (which he already had) and a stomach ache. Basically a sweet little bundle of joy.
I took him to the doctor yesterday. The diagnosis was...bronchitis and stomach virus. It's just as unpleasant as it sounds. He's missed the last two days of school but will probably go back tomorrow. I can tell he's starting to feel human again because he's started asking for food.

Was that the school paper or the real deal Mt juliet or the tennessean. Do you think the girls in the background are talking about the game, or make-up, or maybe that sweet move that dreamy Jacob Williams just pulled off?
Tell Jacob that he's A MACHINE!!! Great photo, great playing and WAY TO HANG IN THERE when you felt like hurling all over the court after you hacked up a lung!!
Get well - and way to "take care of business"...TCB - The King.
Okay, I'm dating myself, but Jacob, it was truly a compliment to call you The King and that you were TCBing!
"WOW", and Mom is so totally wierd talking about Elvis. Like, how would Jacob know what TCB is...isn't that icecream???
Jacob must have been giving 200% at that game because I had no idea he was sick ! He ran just as hard as he always does ! What a guy !
