If you are a fan of The Hunger Games book series by Suzanne Collins, you will definitely enjoy the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth. In a dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions. Each faction has an identifying quality...honesty, courage, selfless, peaceful, and intelligent. Every year, each sixteen year old in society is given the choice to stay with the faction they are born into or choose to join a different faction, breaking all ties with the faction they were born into. Which quality would you hold more important than the rest? Like the Hunger Games, the series is action packed with suspenseful twists. It's helpful to read Divergent and its sequel Insurgent consecutively. I let too much time pass between the two and couldn't remember important details about the factions. The untitled third book comes out in October 2013.
Anyone have any suggestions on a good read while I wait for book 3 to release?
