Mark came for a visit this weekend. Anytime Mark visits, you're guaranteed a few laughs. My brother is one of the funniest, if not the funniest person I know. I always enjoy his company. However, I did discover an area of his life that needs a little work. Not to hurt your feelings dear brother, but you're a terrible shopper. Mark mentioned that he needed a new pair of jeans, so I drug him to several stores (while I Easter shopped) so he could purchase a new pair. He came home empty handed. Were they all sold out you ask? Yes and no. There were plenty of jeans to choose from, but it seems none of them were created in the early 90's and therefore not what he was looking for.
"Those are different color on the front."
"They're faded in the front."
"I can wear my jeans out myself."
"I set my own trends."

I do agree that once you're past your twenties you cannot succumb to every trend that comes along. I appreciate that my wonderful brother doesn't wear lowrise jeans, imitating a plumber, but a slight fading won't hurt anything. I say this in good fun. Mark doesn't need to be trendy to be cool!
Jacob begs Mark not to leave.
Begging didn't work, so Jacob & Jared try to force Mark to stay.
Mark proved to be too much for them.

Perhaps we should have our family "What not to Wear" Stacy take him shopping and show him the error of his ways. She has worked wonders with others (especially me!)..."step away from that rack"...so, words of advice to Mark...let the family "Stacy (the star of What not to Wear) take you shopping, along with your sis...or, we could submit you to the real show and we'll ALL become famous!!!! I've got pictures - anyone else??!!
Look people all I wanted was a regular pair of blue jeans, preferably carpenter jeans so I have a little pocket to put my phone.I guess that's too much to ask for. I don't care if carpenter jeans are not "stylish." At this point in my life practicallity trumps style, and comfort trumps everything. I find the pre-worn style to be annoying. I'm not paying full price for a pair of jeans that I could buy at goodwill. The reason I 'm looking for a pair of jeans is because mine are worn out. Michelle is just upset because I called into question her shopping prowess. She's supposed to be a profesional shopper so I hired her to be my "hunting" guide, I told her the "prey" that I was after and she couldn't put me on the trail that allowed me to bag my "game".
